La francoise appareille demain matin après une petite escale a Fortaleza brésil pour réparation du pilote auto dur de barrer toute la nuit
cap au nord pour 1000 milles de traversée arrivée prévue en guyane francaise sur l oyapock pour remonter jusqu a saint georges et plus si possible petite visiste chez les indiens
ici toujours chaud et très humide quelques photos ci joint

Hi guys, just got his note from a boat in Trinidad, thought I would pass it on, Chow, Robyn & Eric Hi there. We have had several pirate attacks in the area to the North (between Trinidad and Granada) as well as along the area of the Venezuela peninsula to the West of us. There have been a couple in recent weeks.
Pirates are armed with hand guns and with rifles/shotguns and have shot at the boats, so far noone has been hit or killed but they do tend to totally trash the boats completely. We are waiting for the weekend with several other boats to get a Coast Guard escort part way North to Granada. Don't know much about other areas.
Have a good trip and maybe we will see you up Island somewhere!
